Glasgow Print Studio welcomes applications from artists with printmaking experience who would like to use the workshop. If you have no printmaking experience we recommend attending one of our evening or weekend classes.
Artist membership is taken out annually and allows access to the workshop facilities. A system of session fees, purchased individually, in bundles, or as an annual block, contributes to the cost of consumables provided by the workshop such as inks, solvents and related print chemistry, rags, and cleaning materials.
As well as all the benefits of associate membership, artist members are encouraged to apply to exhibit in Glasgow Print Studio’s gallery spaces and to display work to sell in the retail gallery.

Covid-19 - New Booking System
During the Covid-19 pandemic we will be running an appointment only, reduced access schedule in the workshop.
Please refer to our Workshop & Covid-19 page for more details.
The new Workshop Booking System operates on a first come, first served basis.
- Purchase/ensure your membership is current before you book a session.
- We will ask you to add a note to your booking stating which, if any, materials you require so we can prepare them in advance.
- Members are asked to book no more than 2 x 3hr slots per week for the time being.
N.B. If you wish to join as a member for the first time, please contact us first to arrange an induction on email@example.com.
Please be aware that there are no etching staff in on Tuesdays, so we ask the less experienced etchers to perhaps stick to the other days.
Only people with confirmed bookings will be able to access the studio. Please do not come to the studio unless you have booked or made an appointment with a member of staff to collect things.
