A suite of etchings contributing to the culmination of a body of work produced with the support of a Creative Scotland Award presented to Moyna Flannigan.
Flannigans work is characterised by an exuberant imaginative energy, black humour and a probing critique of the effects of power on personal, cultural and political alienation in the modern world.

Regular visitors to Glasgow Print Studio will be familiar with the work of Adrian Wiszniewski. Over the years working with GPS Adrian has produced over 100 etchings, screenprints, woodcuts and lithographs in the workshop and has exhibited many times in the gallery.
Adrians latest venture has many facets which all stem from a modern gothic fairy tale, The Girl, The Boy and The Hag. Written and illustrated by the artist, the images have been produced as a set of 22 limited edition woodcuts and etchings.
The new woodcut prints are exemplary of Adrians ability to create a narrative using bold yet simple line drawing to convey character and action. However, the new etchings also display more elegant and complex drawing complemented by hand-finished colour in more delicate shades than the woodcuts. The works in both media depict dream-like, fantasy figures typical of Adrians figurative style.

In August 2007, Steven Campbell one of Scotland's greatest painters, sadly died.
Steven Campbell was known for his powerful figurative works telling complex narratives created from diverse references and allusions. His early success in New York during the 1980's forged a renewed international interest in Scottish visual art. In 1985, the exhibition New Image Glasgow at the Third Eye Centre brought together several Glasgow painters including Campbell, collectively they became known as the "New Glasgow Boys". And, although they never viewed themselves as a group the name is still used today in reference to Campbell and his contemporaries.
In 2004 Steven exhibited a stunning new body of work entitled Jean-Pierre Leaud at Glasgow Print Studio.
