| Gallery staff will help you complete the credit agreement. After satisfactory credit checking, a standing order will be set up to make your payments. How much you can borrow? Loans are available from as little as £100 up to £2,000. The loan amount can go towards a work of art that costs more than £2,000. It is possible to buy several items at a time or one or more items at different times in different galleries providing the total amount you owe does not exceed £2,000. The amount you borrow is then paid back over ten months in equal amounts. There are no extra costs. There is no charge for the credit (APR 0%). This means the total amount payable under the loan, and the deposit, is not more than the cash price of the pieces(s) of work you purchased. There is no administrative charge or handling fee. What can I buy? An Own Art loan can go toward purchase of any work of art from Glasgow Print Studio.
For example: You could purchase Lilies and Poppies by Elizabeth Blackadder by paying £94 a month for 10 months (selling price £800 + vat). Pay a deposit of £11.25 then pay £40 a month for 10 months to purchase Martin Boyce's screenprint 'Disappear Here' (selling price £350 + vat). On agreement of paying £18 for 10 months you can take home 'Charles and Henry' by Helen Fay (selling price £180). |
