A delicate balance of complexity and simplicity is achieved through repetitive mark making with patient, precise gestures. Loops and lines assemble in arrangements mapped by design, yet feigning a sense organic formation.

The act of repetition is again practised in the production of small editions of screen-printed images, here both the matrix and the process is born from repeating an action.

Rachel's drawings and prints are intricate images with an engaging elegance that invite inspection then captivate in meditative consideration.
