Introduction

We all know that culture and the arts plays a vital part in making this world interesting, and it is even better when you are involved in making this happen.

Despite generous support from Creative Scotland and Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Print Studio needs to raise a substantial percentage of its operating costs through sponsorship and donations, membership and sales.

Glasgow Print Studio needs your support and there are several ways that you can help.

Individual

It is good to be part of something. Become an associate and you will… Receive complimentary invitations to all Glasgow Print Studios exhibition private views and events. Be top of our list to receive free tickets to Art Fairs and other events. Get 10% discount on GPS framing service. Get 10% discount on books and magazines.

Make sure you are part of it for only £50 a year.


Small Business and Corporate Patronage

Your business can have a presence in one of Glasgow’s top cultural tourism venues.

Trongate 103 is an amazing addition to Scotland’s cultural landscape and your business can be part of it by joining the Support a Metre2 scheme. Each £100 you donate will ‘support’ 1m2 of gallery wall in our fantastic exhibition space for one year. Of course, you can donate more than £100 - perhaps you or your company would like to support a whole wall?

You can make a one off donation or you can chose to subscribe to an annual donation.

By donating to GPS you will:

Support artists

Support GPS’ vibrant exhibition programme.

Demonstrate your company’s commitment to supporting culture and the arts.

As a thank-you you will receive for one year:

Accreditation of your name or company logo on GPS’ supporter’s board in the gallery and on our web site.

Exclusive ‘first to know’ about events.

Invitation to all GPS exhibition private views.

We would also like to here from you if you would like to support GPS in any other way, this might be providing refreshments at an exhibition preview in turn for free promotion or sponsoring a mail distribution so you can include your leaflets. We like working with people and are always happy to consider your ideas.

Patronage packages start at £1,000 + VAT per annum. Become a Corporate Patron and enjoy the benefits of a privileged and purposeful relationship with Glasgow Print Studio while making a real contribution to contemporary art and learning.

Sponsorship

The symbiotic relationship created from corporate sponsorship brings a variety of benefits to your company and helps GPS fulfil its aims and reach wider audiences.

Glasgow Print Studio has an every changing programme of exhibitions and learning and sponsorship can be arranged in a variety of ways, from sponsoring one exhibition in the programme, which is relevant to you, company and it’s aspirations or supporting the whole years programme of exhibitions, events and learning.

This headline package includes sponsorship of Glasgow Print studio’s exhibitions and activities programme over a 12 month period.

Exhibition Sponsor

There are also opportunities to support individual artists and their exhibitions. Exhibitions vary in nature, scale and duration. Exhibition Sponsorship can also support new work published by GPS.

Learning Sponsor

Individual elements of the learning programme can be sponsored, including work with schools, the general public or specialist groups or sponsoring our education room.

 Other areas which can be supported at GPS include the artist exchange programme, our website, digital facilities and our archive.

Make a donation

You can make a donation to Glasgow Print Studio by:

Calling our gallery with your credit/debit card details

Sending a cheque made out to Glasgow Print Studio To: Glasgow Print Studio, Trongate 103, Glasgow, Scotland G1 5HD

In person; just ask one of our gallery staff.


Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can now increase the value of your donation by 28%, at no extra cost. The government's Gift Aid scheme allows charities to raise vital extra funds by reclaiming the tax on donations, which means that for every pound that you donate, Glasgow Print Studio will receive an additional 28p.
